Dr. Watkins' Iggy Baci makes sure everyone is entertained at the reception desk.
Ashley has been a member of our technician team since 2005, and became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2015. She grew up on a small farm in Vermont and attended the University of Findlay for Equestrian Studies. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband, George and son Tanner, hiking, fishing and playing with her cat Chaquita (Maine Coon/Manx cross).
Tara is a veterinary technician at our hospital. When not busy at work, she prefers to be outdoors playing sports, hiking and spending time with her husband and daughter, 4 cats, Toni, Jack, Hopey and Desiree, and Diego, her Miniature Dachshund.
Here's Baci's helper, Luna, on her first day at the hospital.
Though she grew up in Queens, NY, Marti has called New Hampshire her home for a long time. She's always loved animals and has worked in pet stores, volunteered in a wildlife rehab center, been a kennel attendant and most recently has worked as a veterinary receptionist for about 6 years, the last 3 at Allenstown Animal Hospital. The most rewarding thing about working in the veterinary field, according to Marti, is being a part of a team of like-minded animal loving co-workers and seeing the good that is done for pets of all kinds on a daily basis.
When not at work Marti enjoys spending time with her husband TIm motorcycling around the state with Dolly - their 2 year old Schweenie (Shih Tzu/, Dachshund mitt) every chance they get!
Janyssa grew up locally before venturing out of state to get her degree in Veterinary Assisting with a certificate in Animal Psychology (with honors!) from Greenville Technical College, in South Carolina. She finds that helping owners keep their animals healthy (and happy!) is the most rewarding part of her job.
When not at work Janyssa is busy tending to her 5 dogs, Pepper (Husky mix), Abby (Coonhound/Greyhound mix), Daisy (Springer Spaniel mix), Bella (Border Terrier mix), and her newest addition Trax (Springer Spaniel). She also loves reading, puzzles, music and spending time with her husband Matt.
Alyssa says that one of her favorite things about working in a veterinary hospital is having co-workers that love animals as much as she does and being surrounded by pets every day. When not at work she loves to spend her time with her son, their pets Red (Lab) and Pepper the rabbit, family, friends and hiking, fishing and spending as much time at the lake as possible.
